A message from Terry Halvorson, co-founder of Rose Forge, Inc.

After 44 years, Rose Forge is permanently closed. We have thrived as a successful small business, serving Cape Cod and the Islands since 1981. During this time we have installed and maintained hundreds, if not thousands, of wood and gas heaters, offering our community a sustainable alternative to staying warm during New England winters.

Throughout these years, we have operated a metal shop, fabricating custom stove pipe and fittings. Our metal work has also included designing, fabricating, and installing copper roofs, zinc bar tops, and occasional artworks. We have also repaired countless beloved metal objects for our customers.

We will miss seeing familiar faces and meeting new customers through our summer propane business. We wish you many tasty barbecues and happy trails.

Our values of craftsmanship, environmental sustainability, and supporting local community have been welcomed with open arms. We are forever grateful to our customers and fellow trades people for making this a practical and meaningful life’s work.
