Rose Forge was founded in 1981 on Route 6A in Brewster,
Massachusetts. Originally the Forge was, in fact, a full
blacksmithing shop, where its owners John and Terry Halvorson
made decorative iron pieces and repaired antiques. Within
a few years the business expanded its operations to include
copper rooves, lanterns, stove pipe, and other custom
sheet metal work. In 1990, Rose forge moved into its new
location at 320 Underpass Road where it still exists today.

The ample land and workspace allowed for larger-scale
sheet metal projects as well as a retail store which continues
to sell the finest quality stoves and fireplaces on the
market today.

Additionally, Rose Forge sells seasonal items, such as
grills and cooking accessories, and has a propane fill
station.

"The shop" is a friendly place, where the resident
dog and cat (Ruby and Gray) will greet you eagerly at
the door. If you stop by, you're also bound to meet Terry
or John, as they've spent the majority of their waking
life on the premises. The employees are equally devoted
and skilled, and together, the Rose Forge crew will work
hard to get what you need done, and done well.
